Giant Quick-E 2018 Canadian Version - Question on the 32km/h Speed Limit - If you go faster any risks to Motor or not??

Thanks for feedback, agreed that extra speed is so cool. I would assume Giant and Yamaha motor would have built in a protection to switch off motor if it gets too hot due to external or internal heat build up.

Rap over Pannier bags for Entour e-Bike (with battery in the back rack)

Hi, very nice pannier, is this one waterproof and where can I buy it from. It looks like you connected the Pannier directly to Giant without adding a holder to the frame. Thanks Gary

Hi, moved the magnet from tyre to frame and now using pedal to determine speed, this now means I can go 45km/h or faster, previously the motor cut out at 32km/h.

Has anybody purchased a badass 4 box? You know(for of road only)

Hi, Just did this modification to my Giant Quick-E+ 2018 and increased speed from 32km/h to 45km/h. So cool, thanks for advice and video. Giant E-Bikes are advertised to go 45km/h or 28Mph, so my question is, is there any risk of damaging the engine or any other component of the bike by going...

Found a way to work around the Speed limiter . Anyone know if this can damage my motor or battery?

Hi, I have done the same to my Giant Quick-e+ 2018 and the 20mph, 32km/h is now removed and can take it to 28mph, 45km/h. Keep in mind that using the pedal instead of your tyre for the actual speed fools the controller that you are going slower which allows you to go faster, so at 10km/h I was...

    Possible Giant Hack

Remove the assist completely, 2nd: Top Speed 20km/h , and 3rd: 32km/h. I managed to get info from Giant Canada and this was their response: "Unfortunately...

Giant Battery Charger Blown - Can parts be sourced?

Hi, Bought an Ebike from Canada and imported into South Africa. In South Africa our electricity is 220v and in Canada it is 100-120v. To cut a long story short, me in my stupidity and excitement plugged the charger into the 220v and the charger blew and I can smell burning. Any advice if I...
