Can I please get latest greatest headlight options for st2?

I got spoiled with st2s headlight, but sold bike. Now I’m back to same old problem- 45kph bike with 25kph light. I’ve supplemented (less than) super. Nova with Felix rechargeable battery and it helps, but prefer light wired into bike.
I bought a light and motion seca 1800 and it’s about equal to Oem 400( must use similar number crunching as newton meters)
Dissapointed for sure.
So, I guess it’s m99 pro or pure, unless anybody has a better idea.
I don’t comprende electricity, but I would guess there is just not enough juice running to light to make it m99 pro quality.
So, if anybody has had success with this I would appreciate the advice.
I’m forever arm chair quarterbacking Stromer, but with many thousand near perfect bikes out with weak, far from adaquate headlight- I wish they would put out a good one. Cost is not much of a consideration for me, after all, I’ve owned four Stromer. They are not overpriced as long as you never tell your friends what bike cost. Light and motions web pictures of light output reminds me of Crizal prescription glasses back cover ads..... hell ya, I’ll pay a grand to lose all nighttime glare, I paid the grand and kept the glare.
Thanks for any proven advice, I just need one reputable poster to send me in right direction. Barry

Barry,

SECA 1800 is a great light. Better than M99 pure but not as good as the Pro.
There is a button on the light. (flash, low, medium, high) did you toggle between those modes?
ST2 comes with 6V output and as a result, the light intensity is dimmed. If you plug in directly to the CANBUS port near the OMNI module, it may get 12V but even then it may not provide the power needed by Seca 1800.
Its best used on a dedicated 12V system.
I would try toggling between the modes and see if anything changes.

I was toggling between modes, I’ll call them and see what they say.
Late last night I switched my butt cnnectors to solder, maybe that will help.

Seems to work much better tonight. Either better wire connections or placebo effect “ if Ravisays its good, it must be”. I don’t think honk I was getting high beam last night. My apologies to light and motion. Along with Fences x pointing down and motion pointing more up and out- it’s a 28mph nighttime bike. I’m good.

I’ll do that. It continues to be satisfactory, and if you adjust for my eyesight, it’s likely exceptional!

And the money shots.....
The dark pics behind lit picks are same place, same time. It’s pretty dark even though there are lights in the distance.

Pretty cool!
Compared to the stock light, how bright are they?
They are only running at 6V but they can put out lot more at 12V.

I can’t honestly answer that. But I feel like I have better light than the stock light and fenix rechargeable combined.
I can run mid twenty’s comfortable, that’s the best way to describe it.
For me, it’s a permanent solution to riding at night.
