    Hello From Indiana

While I was typing I see there were some other replies. With a $3k budget, then neither of my suggestions work. A Juiced CCX has a big battery, maybe consider that.

    Hello From Indiana

Sounds like Tim is in good physical shape and I suspect he will get more range out of the battery than most on these forums. I have a Juiced CCS and my commute is 11 miles each way. I normally use Eco and generally when I get home I have 60% to 70% of the battery remaining. He will likely be ok...

fwiw - I think the GMAC motor is a special version of the MAC motor developed in conjunction with Grin, that's why it's called GMAC. I would think Grin would support the motor just fine. Hilleater and Grin seem to have a business relationship for a number of years now. Personally I'd prefer the...

    2019 Vado 3 vs 2020 Vado 3

I would listen to Stefan, he has experience with the Vado and seems to have an informed opinion.

What's the difference in price? I have a Creo with Mission Control and it's nice, but everything has a value and need to know the price difference to assess if Mission Control and the other differences are worth it.

Most ebikers are retired or near retiring age where age has taken a tool on muscle strenght and endurance.

Mr. Coffee, that last one indeed is quite a ride with lots of elevation, but a dozen batteries? Surely you could do that with a dozen batteries. That would be a lot of power! Give me a dozen range extenders for my Creo and I think I could do that ride. It is difficult, but that's a lot of...

I had stopped mountain biking years ago, then my 12 year old son started to mountain bike and once he got into Enduro my wife insisted I go with him due to the possibility of injury. Of course I had to buy a new bike for that :D we ride together and it's a great way to spend time with him...

    Online Purchase Warranty Service

I had a problem with my Juiced CCS and the Canadian distributor responded quickly and resolved the problem. Service was just as good as if I had purchased at LBS but this was more convenient as he sent parts to my home. I didn't have to bring the bike to the store.

Trail Cruiser are you the author of the video? Interesting. I've never seriously considered a bike that had a Bosch motor, but not because it was Bosch it was just a coincidence I think. Well maybe not. My first 2 ebikes were relatively inexpensive and anything with Bosch wouldn't have been...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

I also find the motor on the Creo to be fairly quiet, you can hear it but it's not that loud.

Using Heart rate with Mission Control, Smart Control

What does TCD stand for? I put my Garmin into broadcast mode, but even with that the Mission Control app on my phone for some reason didn't pick it up. I need an external strap. Not sure why it didn't work for me. I'll try again.

    My first e-bike

I wanted a 2nd set of wheels for the bike and if I get a 2nd set built I'm going to get a SRAM xD on the rear wheel so I can fit a cassette that goes down to 10 teeth. I find the 46-11 combo is not a high enough gear for my liking. I have a 50-11 combo on my Cervelo and that is fine, but this...

Nice bikes. Too bad I just bought a Creo, will have to wait a while before I buy another. But I see these bikes as good for running errands, not quite a cargo bike but still lots of utility.
