Speedy delimiters hype hassle or pure gains?

What are people's experience with bike delimiting software or chips? My feeling is without engineering an electric motor and battery for higher speeds the existing platforms are designed around anticipated output and not much more. For example you can't put premium gas in a Hyundai and expect it...

Known Issues & Problems with Cannondale Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I need to upgrade my fork. The 50mm of travel is insufficient. Is there a conversion kit available? I know I'd have to convert the steerer tube. I'd like to keep the wheels and brakes and buy a Fox fork off of CL. My hands are screaming in pain.

Removing a Shimano Steps E6000 right side crank.

Yes, I was hoping a cold-steel chisel and 5lb hammer would be appropriate. Those adapters are $67. I'll just take the battery off and charge it. Thanks!

Removing a Shimano Steps E6000 right side crank.

Hello! I am attempting to install an on bike charging port/battery mount on my E6000 equipped bike. The left non-drive side looks conventional. The drive side looks convenny until I lift the crank. Then there is a nut that must be removed to drop the motor cover. Motor cover needs to be removed...

Big problem. The onboard charger installation requires a Shimano Steps Crank Arm Puller. It's a show stopper without this $69 tool. I'll look around for a shop that can pull this crank arm. It's too bad they down graded the Misceo to Hubdrive. The reality is Pedal Assist is beyond what the...

No idea what they were thinking with that kickstand. It's definitely OPI Cannondale but how did they overlook compatibly? What's more this frame was originally spec'd for 24" wheels!

Hello Douglas, I'm, glad you took the plunge. Do you have any pictures? I re-aligned the components on the Contro-espeed. like the Corvette of yore, there isn't much aesthetically you can improve. It's a statement by Cannondale. If I didn't require panniers I'd remove the rack.

Chain Guard Failure on Bosch Preformance

Hi I suggest replacing that chain every 250 miles. I have a Contro E 2 and the stretch after 225miles is significant. I followed another members advice and went with KMC. I was expecting this over built chain with sexy fabrication, alas it's by appearance normal! The thing I like about the...

Hi Douglas, Exactly, that is exactly what I did. It's over-engineered. I basically removed the moving telescopic potion. sawed off 1". Punch, drilled and tapped it. Chamfered the edges. Do you have any pictures of your bike? I'd love to see what you've done, if anything. I seem to be doing...
