    Hydra question

Carbon is supposed to be 4x stronger if made right. If you are doing 10' jumps then (a) I suppose it matters and you would want a lighter frame at that point, and (b) you are a beast and I am jealous. I snapped an aluminum frame as a kid but that was rust-induced on a BMX bike.

    Hydra question

Hydra is carbon fiber. Frey EX is aluminum, correct?

    Andy Kirby "Vapour" E-Bike Review

Does "looks like" mean you actually weighed it? My $1,000 hardtail aluminum NCM Moscow is 56 lbs so I tend to think the Kirby is closer to that 50.76 lbs.

    Radmission vs ncm moscow?

I bought an NCM Moscow. I had the motor crap out after 60 days, called Leon Cycles who asked me to make a video so they could justify it with NCM, and they sent a replacement right away. That's good customer service right there. I burnt out the brakes in about 90 days - wish I got the Plus...

    Andy Kirby "Vapour" E-Bike Review

Thanks so much for taking the time to post this. I had the Kirby eBike on my watch list but that guy never replied to my email inquiries. I love his videos and thought it was a nice bike with components listed. At $6K it's priced close to a Hydra with Archon max'd out + Kindernay.

    Watt Wagons Scrambler Style Ebike

Guilty as charged. I'll own that. I did search but not for the terminology. When looking up cafe ebike I got pics of scramblers and just assumed.

    Watt Wagons Scrambler Style Ebike

Thanks so much for taking the time to clarify. I originally thought the Scrambler was a Cafe. My interest is more Cafe Racer style.

    Watt Wagons Scrambler Style Ebike

Funny to see this thread...was just talking about this category with a friend as I've seen 2 of these in the past week. I'm not a fan of the cafe bike with banana seat. It did not last in the gas-powered world during the 70s as the more radical designs took over. I think a more...

    eMTB Options For 2020-2021

That is a beautiful bike. Trek continues to impress with their designs. $12K though - yikes! I could buy a Jeep.

    2/26 update

Yeah I just saw your other post which answered my own question. I keep seeing those types of bikes here in San Diego - a modernized version of the classic DIY dirt bikes of the 70s using a lawnmower motor and instructions out of the back of Popular Mechanics...next to the DIY helicopter every...

    2/26 update

Did you buy an X1 Enduro? It would be great to see a head-to-head review if you have the ability and interest.

Rad Power Bikes lands massive $150M investment

Out of curiosity, where do they advertise since they are direct-to-consumer? Selling 100K bikes is quite astonishing. I'm not sure how they got there and word of mouth is nice but not that nice. Love the mobile vans as a consumer!
