Is This Battery Pack for Real ($106) ??

Did one last ride on thecurrent charge. Total 135+ miles (display trip odometer has a glitch where it under reports 1 mile out of 10 when above 100 miles). Over 7500 feet climbing. It might be able to provide assist for another 25 miles and another 2000ft elevation gain but I'm not going to...

Your fav trails in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming?

Your posts are a great addition to the ebike touring section. Reading about the Mickelson trail makes me want to do it - now. I see that today starts a 3 day group ride event on the Mickelson trail.

TSDZ2 C3 Display km to mph

Nice. I did some hilly gravel trails yesterday. The TS made steep grades almost too easy on assist level 4, level 5 would have been excessive.

TSDZ2 C3 Display km to mph

If you get the chance see if your TRIP odometer reads normally above 100 miles. I've been doing a range test with a cheap 48v 15ah battery on my hybrid bike with a 48v 750w version of the tongsheng. Above 100 miles I noticed that the mileage display didn't increase in 0.1 mile increments like...

Is This Battery Pack for Real ($106) ??

I'm doing a range test on my no name Amazon sourced 48v 15ah battery that I've had for about 9 months. Used it on this TSDZ2 mid drive conversion as well as a 1980s Schwinn Sierra mountain bike with a 500w geared rear hub motor conversion. All rides on very hilly routes. So far 110 miles on...

Your fav trails in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming?

Great pictures Dallant! Smoke and crowds not too bad then? Amtrak had a 1/2 off sale where I could do a round trip to West Glacier and back for $100 which is less than gas money and I would have done it spending a couple days at Glacier to ride over going to the sun but webcams of the park...

New record heavyweight eBike @ 84 pounds ?

To me the worst thing about ebikes is weight. My Yamaha powered gravel bike is 41#, two Tongsheng mid drive conversions are low 40s# and I honestly hate the weight. I ride without assist except on long or steeper grades or into the wind or when I'm plain tired so usually I'm just riding a...

TSDZ2 C3 Display km to mph

Now I remember you posting that. Great bike for your conversion. PS only thing that I was advised safe to change in advance settings would be the speed limit which can be set to 45km/hr (I think is the max).

TSDZ2 C3 Display km to mph

C3 is the way to go IMO After turning on the display double click the power button. scroll to SYSTEM and choose IMPERIAL instead of METRIC. If you ever want to get into advanced settings the code is 1801. What bike did you install it on, pictures?

Is This Battery Pack for Real ($106) ??

Or for people like me who don't want to purchase from aliexpress or wait 3 months for delivery the Amazon sourced batteries that I have cost $159-$169 (plus tax) with free shipping received within a week. They have handled 48v 750w TSDZ2 which draws up to 18amps (per ecocycles) and I have...

Is This Battery Pack for Real ($106) ??

I see this thread has 3K views which speaks to the interest in lower price batteries. It sounds like Gionnirocket's battery didn't meet his expectations and maybe a $100 battery is below the threshold where reasonable performance can be expected. I have no dog in the fight and don't care what...

    Shipping Lies, be prepared

Ignore the curmudgeonly trolls that frequent this site. There are a lot of them from self proclaimed (pseudo) experts to ebike eletist/snobs and everything in between. EBR has jumped the shark with these trolls.

Is This Battery Pack for Real ($106) ??

It is good though that you make it clear that you don't make or sell batteries but they are just a hobby. That gives more context to your claims which came across as coming from an expert in the field.

Those posts must have been edited or deleted by George S and linklemming. I don't see your post anymore where you indicated that you "shared" rather than sold the batteries. Do you know what the story is behind that?
