Yes, directly from them in the U.S. It was easy, and their service is great. I think it was Eric I spoke to, one of the owners. They are really committed.
It was -20C here last night and we have nearly 1 1/2 feet of snow on the ground. My bike hasn’t left the garage in a couple of weeks. Driving the Honda snowblower instead.
I feel for my friends in Texas who are struggling with historical winter conditions and power outages, and are not used to...
Any air gun firing at more than 500 fps must be registered as a firearm in Canada. In addition our virtue-signalling federal government has just introduced legislation that could make any realistic replica pistol illegal/subject to seizure. It’s their attempt to appear to be dealing with handgun...
I run all four wheels on my car on snow tires in the winter. The regular all-season tires, even with prominent tread, just spin and provide poor directional control. It’s largely down to the conventional rubber compound becoming even harder and slippery in very cold temperatures.
Snow tires are also made with softer rubber that stays pliable in cold temperatures. My Marathon GT 365 tires have the micro sipes as described by Prairie Dog, as well as a soft rubber compound. They have proven to have good traction for me in up to 4” of fresh snow.
Sub-zero temps have me off the bike for some time now. Looks like -17C coming up (or down) for the next weekend. Have taken up bread baking as well as wood carving for the next little while.
If you do get the wrong size, I find their service to be very responsive. My heated socks developed a seam opening inside the toe and the wires were bothersome. They sent a new pair straight away, complete with batteries, only asking for a photo.
I found the sizing chart to be very accurate. I would have expected my size to be a large, but based on the measurement I went with extra large, and they are an excellent fit.
