    Wide ratio ebike cassette?

And SRAM just came out with a GX version of the AXS. The upgrade kit retails for $600 - including derailleur, shifter, battery. Use your existing SRAM Eagle cassette, or buy their 10-52 huge range cassette. I'm really tempted.

Why Put 12 Speed Groups On Bafang Ultra Bikes?

It does not. I myself am running two master links without issue, however.

Why Put 12 Speed Groups On Bafang Ultra Bikes?

The SRAM X01 Eagle is the strongest of all the 12-speed chains according to a test I can dig up if you really want. I've good things about Onyx hubs.

Why Put 12 Speed Groups On Bafang Ultra Bikes?

Box's Prime 9 is a really interesting concept: Use the 12-speed dimension for the inside of the chain and the 9-speed dimension for the outside of the chain. This means the rear cog has plates that are as thin as 12-speed cogs, but they're spaced further apart. The front chainring can be any...

    Handlebars: Back sweep angle?

Before you cut, be sure there's enough bar for the shifters and whatever grips you want to install. I ended up with these combo grips/bar ends and like them a lot: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0756TM4CX

    Handlebars: Back sweep angle?

Width shouldn't be an issue, as you can cut down most handlebars, especially carbon fiber ones. And the flex is what helps them be comfortable, as they're not transmitting as much vibration to your hands/wrists as aluminum bars do. After all, they actually make tuning forks out of aluminum!

loading/unload ebike from platform bike rack

The rims rest on the upper arms and the wheels are strapped. The tires rest on the lower arms and are strapped in. So, the MoTow isn't really a platform rack, but it doesn't hold bikes by their frames. There is metal rim to rack contact, though, which probably isn't much of a problem unless...

loading/unload ebike from platform bike rack

The founder of 1up has a new company. I forget the name, but it’s been mentioned here in another thread. Worth checking out.

loading/unload ebike from platform bike rack

    1) The maximum weight limit of the Kuat Transfer v2 is 40lbs/bike. Is your ebike, even with battery removed, less than that? 2) Ramps not made for this rack won't work. In particular, I own the 1UP ramp (and will gladly sell it, btw), and don't see how that would fit another brand's rack. 3)...

Should I spray WD-40 into my battery lock? (Yamaha external)

If I wanted to clean a lock mechanism - or most mechanical mechanisms out - I'd use White Lightning Clean Streak. It's a great degreaser and leaves no residue of its own, so you can then lubricate with the lubricant of your choice. I also use it on my bicycle chains. It cleans really well.

Should I spray WD-40 into my battery lock? (Yamaha external)

While everyone points out that WD-40 isn't a lubricant, that's not what the @bikeman242 is asking for. He's looking to prevent corrosion, not lubricate. WD-40 is indeed sold as a "corrosion inhibitor." The problem isn't that it evaporates, it's actually the opposite; That it sticks around and...

Is this hole supposed to be there?

Here's a still showing the setup. Note the bike is upside-down on a stand. On the good side the wire connections are towards the back of the motor, away from the front downtube, so maybe not as bad as I initially thought.

Is this hole supposed to be there?

The way Ultra motors are attached, the wire connections are in the space between the top of the motor and the frame, so that hole would allow anything to get in and slide down onto the those connections, as well as the top of the motor. If it were my bike, I'd cover the hole, especially if...

Chain guard sheared off of chain ring + a few other things

Al probably strong enough but dielectric with steel would be bad.
