    Wallke W-PAS 50% regeneration?

Any update ? My bike started (or maybe I just never noticed before) making a faint ticking noise, in the rear, when I was pedaling in PAS level 2 (+/- 22 mph). Turns out some of the spokes on the rear tire weren't hand tight. $5 later on Amazon, no more ticking time bomb Spoke wrench

I think you said that you tried this already, but have you tried "Current Limit: Normal", which would mimic CarlW ?

You would probably end up having to use a local store. To get all of the needed components right the first time.

That's unfortunate, not much can be done about the seating position, in stock form. If you're after an upright position, you can look into a curved handlebar. Once Wallke sorts out your controller issue, you should see 27 - 29 mph.

Not with Wallke, but I have interactions with vendors in China, for another one of my hobbies and the conversations always go sideways. I've found that if you deluge them with facts and eliminate all other possibilities, they'll acquiesce, at some point. I could be off, but I'm keying on the...

    Wallke W-PAS 50% regeneration?

Yes, that's what the factory set my controller for. I haven't been inclined to try a different number. When the light will automatically turn on. I know my light comes on automatically, when I'm indoors. But since I don't ride at either dusk or dawn, I haven't tried to fine tune the AL...

Unfortunately I'm not using the phone holder, so I can't do a real time comparison of the controller's speedometer and my phone. My wheels are set to 28" , If you're referencing the 30" from this image; it's a screen grab out of the pdf file, for the controller. These are my Advanced...

Just for my education, under "Current Limit", what are your options ? Mine are: 07 - 22, in increments of 1, with 18A being my factory/current setting.

@camdon44 , I think the culprit is in your advanced settings. My "Assistant Num" is set to the default of 12; which is the midpoint, of the range. Also, it looks like your controller has a newer firmware. As my Current limit doesn't have a "Sport" option

I sent you a link, to the manual, for the controller These are my voltage settings for each of my 5 PAS levels: As a suggestion: Take a pic of your advanced settings, then compare them to mine. Specifically the voltage, mine from the factory is set to 48v. Let me know if you still have issues

I'll be curious to see how you compare the 26" to the 20" fat tire bikes, purely on the ride ability.

Doing my 5th charge now. 76 miles, on one full charge. I average a little over 12 mph, when there's no head wind. The regenerative action comes in, in the high 12s, low 13s. On PAS level 1, power kicks in when I dip below 12 mph

Single charge, six runs, over ten days, 95% PAS 1, 5% PAS 2 (no throttle only) Today, on PAS 3 (25 mph) throttle only to cross a major roadway, the battery meter dipped into the mid 60s, but bounced back into the 70s, when I resumed PAS 1 (with peddling)

I recently watched a few YouTube videos, on the "real" bicycle factories in China; they're like many of the other industries in China, that follow the "private label manufacturers " sales model. The real manufacturing factory would create the regenerative technology and then re-sell it as an...

    Wallke W-PAS 50% regeneration?

I'm in South East Florida. No hills to speak of. I feel the 53.7 miles (logged on the one charge) is a true representation of the bike's abilities. As the last week was rather windy and on PAS 1 (kicks in at +11 mph) the motor was engaging more than the previous week; where it was more calm.
