    Specialized Turbo Vado/Como User Club

Rode my first long trip today on my new 2020 Como 4 on an asphalt rail trail near Chillicothe OH. Rode 36.4 miles in ECO only and used 55% of battery capacity. The Como 4 has a better range than I expected. Plenty of assist in ECO for most of the trails I’ll be riding. The ride quality is so...

    Specialized Turbo Vado/Como User Club

For others with the Como 4, why are there no markings to indicate what gear I am in near the shifters on the handlebar. is this the way this bike is or am I missing an insert or something indicating the current gear?

    Specialized Turbo Vado/Como User Club

Just joined the Specialized Turbo Vado Como User Club when I picked up my Turbo Como 4 today. I was really surprised to see a couple things about the bike that I hadn't expected and were not like I saw in all of the reviews. The light for the rear of the bike was not under the seat but...

    Specialized Turbo Vado/Como User Club

Is it the Verve +4 from Europe? Would love to see a pic as I’m about to buy and was leaning towards the Como 4.

    Specialized Turbo Vado/Como User Club

Would like to know more about Treks new speed pedalec. Is it the Verve+ 4 that is sold overseas? I’ve pretty well made up my mind for a Como 4 but would like to know more about the new Trek. Can I get a pic too please?

    Swapping battery when buying

Has anyone ever opted to buy the larger capacity battery for their Como 4? I wonder if it’s possible to pay the dealer the difference $ to swap for the higher capacity 600 watt over the stock 500 watt. Going to talk to the dealer on Tuesday when they open back up and just wanted to see if...

    Como 4 vs Como 5

Thanks for the reply. The trails we ride are relatively flat as they follow abandoned railroad tracks. I do occasionally ride local roads where the higher 28mph limit is handy. Nearest Bulls dealer is over 4 hours away. 😟

    Como 4 vs Como 5

I’m in WV, nearest Bulls dealer is about 4 hours away. Wish I had one closer. Trek and Specialized are the ebike dealers within an hour from my home.

    Como 4 vs Como 5

You We ride crushed stone rail trails with mostly slight hills over distances of 25 to 40 miles. Our speed averages 10-11mph. On my Aventon Pace 500 with 556 watt hours I get about 30 miles per battery using mostly PAS 1. I used a second battery to finish the longer outings. Would love to be...

    Como 4 vs Como 5

I have narrowed my selection of a new ebike to either the Como 4 or Como 5. I need the upright riding position of The Como line as I’m 63 with some health issues. I weigh about 270lbs.. Not been able to test ride either (test rode a Vado 4 to get an idea of the motor power). I ride mostly...

50nm mid drive vs 50nm hub drive

As the original poster of this thread, I would like you to know I have sold my Aventon Pace 500 and ordered a Specialized Como 4. Thanks for the information you provided. Looking forward to the arrival of the Como 4 and will let everyone here know my thoughts on the new bike.

50 nm mid drive vs 50 nm rear hub drive

Your reply is wonderful! It touched on all the issues I listed and you even talked specifically about the individual bikes! You were an immense help and a credit to the forums here at Electric Bike Review!

50 nm mid drive vs 50 nm rear hub drive

I am currently riding an Aventon Pace 500 which I am generally pleased with. A couple annoying features though have me now looking at a mid drive bike. The Aventon is a 500 watt, 48 volt, 50 nm, 8 speed rear hub motor ebike that is capable of ascending every hill I've tried even with my 250...
