    ProBikeKit Don’t buy from them

I purchase a Park Tool Tensioner from ProBikeKit. It was scratched-up and obviously used. Trying to contact support was a rabbit hole. I would not buy from them.

    Derailleur adjustment after removing wheel

I definitely caused my own problem. It was the first time that I took off a derailleured wheel in some 25 years. I caused it to go out of adjustment while trying to get it on. It shouldn’t be a struggle next time. One tip for the Aventon Level... remove the drive side nut and washers,.. slide...

    Derailleur adjustment after removing wheel

Hello, Level owner here. I just replaced a rear spoke and struggled a bit when I was sorting-out how to get the chain and derailleur positioned as I reinstalled the wheel. Now it’s not shifting properly. It doesn’t want to go to the biggest gear and I can hear that it is not set right for the...

How to Replace a Broken Spoke

So, that site is the company’s old site. The new site is https://mbrebel.com and I talked to the owner, Lynne, who is quite knowledgeable. I ordered 11 and 12 Ga. spokes. I’ll let y’all know how it works out. If the 11 Ga. spokes work, I will consider rebuilding my rear with them. One thing...

How to Replace a Broken Spoke

Absolutely. What-with the spoke issues on the Level,.. you’d think there would be a part available on their page. Hopefully the community will be able to provide links to replacements. I’ll post if I find one. J.R., thanks for the engagement on this thread.

How to Replace a Broken Spoke

I just measured it. The length is 192 mm to the break. I am guessing the the missing bend portion would add another 4 or 5 mm.

Which suspension post for a comfort upright bike

I just received the Suntour post. I was surprised by the weight, it’s heavier than I thought it would be. But that’s on me; I could have looked it up. I also got the heavier (red) spring. After swapping it in, it occurred to me how easy that was to do and that the posts should be offered with...

    Pace 500 Hill Climb abilities

I noticed that when I was being lazy with the pedals, or just throttling outright, the battery gauge would go down an then recover after giving it a rest. I am initially taking this to mean that the battery is getting hot and putting out less voltage. This is my guess as I am learning. I haven’t...
