    New Rad bike announcment 3/26?

That's funny stuff. I'll leave the small bikes to clowns and Shriners.

    New Rad bike announcment 3/26?

I think all these new moped/minibike-looking bikes look great. Until you sit a person over 5'-7" on them. Then it looks like a grownup riding a child's bike. They need larger tires (maybe 24") and slightly larger frames so you don't knock your knees on the handlebars (I'd guess that's one...

Aren't most bikes in this price range spring suspension?

    New Rad bike announcment 3/26?

https://www.radpowerbikes.com/products/radrunner-plus Not bad. I think this now competes well with the Scorpion. I'd choose it between the two because of the adjustable seat (I'm too tall for the Scorpion) but the Scorpion still looks better to me. :)

    New Rad bike announcment 3/26?

Maybe you are right. Wishful thinking on my part. I was hoping for 24 inch plus tires. I think the runner would look better with larger diameter wheels/tires.

Anybody know about Ariel Rider X-Class ?

Hopefully they give you 2 free foot pegs. :) Any idea what the seat height is? It looks higher (better for me) than the Scorpion.

    Waiting on the Scorpion

I'm about 6-1. Yeah, I think the scrambler is about the same seat height as the scorpion with the tall seat option so that wouldn't work either. Plus I like the step-through design and scrambler doesn't have that. I'm waiting for the Scorpion Grande with 24" tires... :)

    Waiting on the Scorpion

Yeah, I think I'd need a little more than the 2.5" to really make pedaling work. 6" might do it, but I think the bike would start looking kind of strange with a seat that tall. I think I need a 24" tire version - scale the whole bike up a bit.

    Waiting on the Scorpion

I'm not waiting on a Scorpion, but I think they'd be great for shorter-legged people who aren't in a hurry to get a bike. I'm still following the updates on https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/juiced-scorpion-moped-style-e-bike#/updates/all . It looks like there may be a new wave of these...

Juiced Scorpion Indiegogo campaign crosses $1.23 Million in less than 18 hours

Looks good. Only change I see from the prototypes is the way the rear fender attaches. Hoping there is a larger frame/tire version in the works. :)

How Do I Make The Yukon 2018 Voltbike faster?

Let us know what you experience. I'm thinking you might not accelerate as fast as a 750, but you might fool the controller into continuing to send the 500-level power beyond the maximum speed limit (because it thinks it's going slower). So maybe no increase in "power" but an increase in...

How Do I Make The Yukon 2018 Voltbike faster?

So could he set tire size to smaller (if that's an option)? That might fool the speedometer into thinking he's moving slower than he really is. He'd have to find some other way (I think google maps shows speed now) to see if it works since his speedometer would be off.

Juiced Scorpion Indiegogo campaign crosses $1.23 Million in less than 18 hours

It does seem that Juiced is much more involved with the building of their bikes than the average import bike company. Seems like they are designing stuff (like the frame itself!) instead of just picking from available parts and having someone put it together and ship it to them. And they are...

The next (new) juiced bike . Juiced scorpion

From their comments and videos from the Scrambler launch, it sounded like the MAC controller was a pain to get programmed right. But I don't know if that means they are leveraging what they learned from that or if they think they can do better with something else.

The next (new) juiced bike . Juiced scorpion

Thanks FlatSix911. I see the same thing, again though: "The downside, as I mentioned previously, is that it is a laid back pedalling position and it is hard to get full leg extension for moderate to tall folks." I love everything about the bike but the size. :(

The next (new) juiced bike . Juiced scorpion

"My one complaint is about the size of the bike. I’m a tall-ish guy at a little over six feet tall, and I prefer to not have my knees bumping into my elbows when I ride." https://www.theverge.com/2019/9/24/20875870/juiced-scorpion-ebike-price-specs-release I really hope they do make a...

The next (new) juiced bike . Juiced scorpion

I'm not going to do the Scorpion pre-order. The specs are out there now and the cheapest prices were close to gone. I think I'll wait for the thing to get into production and some reviews are out and I have time to study the specs. I think Juiced is a good company, but I don't like the...

I got that too. I haven't found if or where they posted full specs yet. Would make the decision easier if I had more info.
