Hello All,
Attached are a stock Lotus Pegasus ( among the 1st ATB's w/ less than 100 examples produced) & my original owner 1985. In 2017 I adapted a Delinger Street Legal ARC 350W 36V 14.5ah front hub Kit. Adding SKS Beavertail fenders and a Topeak Rack. Shark 500 Lights from CycleTorch completed my all weather transport.
Since I've logged over 8000 trouble free miles as my sole transportation.

Until 9/22 when it was stolen from my apartment hallway.
Well 35 years of ownership , half my life is a sad loss and literally irreplaceable.
Needing new wheels I've taken delivery of an Avention Pace 500 Limited Edition largely due to availability.

I'm a bit less than pleased with the Controller configuration, in how it ties top speed to PA levels & a crude "On-Off" torque delivery. Aventon suggestion of increasing the tire size seems to speak to a lack of software development ( there's a data port on the bike for a reason !
That said it does have good value & quality components, any machine can be tweaked

I've' noted the similarities between Aventon & Ride 1 Up ( same frame , same battery ) Does anyone know what the relationship between the two companies might be ?
Well enough from me, and thanks for having me.
Best Regards Jim

I didn't know that Lotus made a bike.. I know they had a really cool concept bike but didn't know that they had a production model.

Not Colin Chapman Lotus LOL go to vintage Lotus bikes. Com they actually made quite an extensive range of high-performance road bikes with a very active vintage group

That is the original 1987 Mike Burrows design that once the UCI drop the ban on monocoque's , Lotus engineering ( the current-day successor to Lotus motor cars founded in the 50s by Colin Chapman ) produced as a time trials bike for the British cycling Union to compete in Olympics.
The one I started the thread with is their current offering and is actually carbon printed
