I have own my Como 4.0 for at least a month now. Love that bike so much bought the wife a como 3.0 ridding has been fun. So I went to charge her bike for the first time. I plugged in everything correctly the charger went to green then red like they do. After 4.5 hours I noticed where you turn your battery on the 4 green lights were flashing now. The monitor said it was charging. The charger was still red. I waited till 5 hrs still no green light on the charger. So I unplugged the charger turn on the battery and all 4 green lights We’re in a full charge. It looks like it took a charge but what is strange to me is the bike manual states the charger should go to green on a full charge. My Como 4.0 works like that. I don’t know what year the bike is maybe they changed the charging system and didn’t up date the manual. How do others Como 3.0 charge

My Como 3s charge like your Como 4, eventually the charger light goes green. But the first time I charged one, it took a very long time to go green, maybe over 6 hours. Battery never dropped below 2 bars since then, and charges are 2 or 3 hours. Your Como 4 probably has a hotter charger (4 amp) than the Como 3 (2 amp). Perhaps just more patience is required with the Como 3.

It looks like a 2amp it says 100-240 volt-2.0 OA (max)50/60 Hz
Output 42.0 volts——- 2.0 A

i thought after 5 hrs that battery should of been fully charge we had 3 bars showing before I charged it

Nay, expect charging time of 6 hours at least. The reason is: Your battery seems to be 11 Ah. With the 2A charging current, it is 11/2 = 5.5 hours from nearly flat battery. Yet Li-Ion batteries are being charged non-linearly to avoid battery damage near to the end of charging, and that makes the charging process very slow and taking even more time than expected if you want to charge the battery to 100%.

P.S. Cell balancing process also takes time.
