E-Bike Extended warranty coverage and Insurance?

Hello All:)
My first post past introduction so forgive this newbie:rolleyes:. (I did search for "extended warranty" and found little to nothing). I am buying a BikTrix Juggernaut Classic, 750W Bafang mid drive, 17.5ah batt, with 4" tires. Should arrive in under a month, and have 30 days beyond that to decide the below.

1. Do any of you feel a extended (2nd year) purchased warranty is needed or worth it? (App $180.00, coverage begins when you buy bike, covers "2 years" total)

2. Have Any of you heard of getmulberry.com insurance? I had to email them to request a copy of their terms / contract / coverage's which I thought was odd:rolleyes: but since I did I will put the link they sent me below. (Glanced over it briefly so far - will read closely depending on your replies).

3. Has anyone ever seen any other "extended warranties" available on a new E-Bike to purchase, to compare to this one?

4. Does anyone have bike insurance? Who is it available through? Is it needed?

Thank you for any reply, and your expert help...

Yes, for that price the extended warranty is a bargain that will probably pay for itself. The easiest
way to insure is through a home owners policy, although the deductible is fairly high. I have ridden
the bike that you are getting and it rides very nicely. Enjoy!

FYI, I have a jug classic as well.
Hey Ruffruff! Happy to hear you have one too! How far do you go on average on the 17.5 x48v battery? I'm no light weight, at 6'2' & 250 ibs, but they are offering about 40% off extra batteries for up to 30 days after I take delivery of the bike. A extra 21AH battery I believe was $600 instead of the usual $900, 17.5 was $499 instead of 800 I think. (Wow very pricey batteries!)

I'm a Fatarse...I usually ride in PAS2. On the flats I'm getting around 25 miles.
I ride a lot in the winter and colder temps. really knock the range down.
Yes, batteries for any ebike are pricey.

In the summer I swap the tires out for AriSun Big Smoothies.

Do the AriSun smoothies increase your mileage any? I was wondering if the knobby tread eats more juice to run.
