Finally did it

After 6 to 8 months of obsessed research on ebikes? where do I start where does it end ,I bought a 2015
EVO 27.5 and I love it. I bought from a local dealer ( the only ebike dealer in 400 miles ) a gutsy move on his part. I live in NW Montana a wonderful place to be, and a fantastic place to ride. I am 65 years old over weight and like most of you I love to ride. I work part time selling motorcycles as I have for the last 25 years
and I love them but they are not going to get me back into shape. Ebikes are a sleeper I love it, I have had more fun with this bike than the last 5 motorcycles combined. Yesterday my daughter and I rode 15 miles past the
the closed gate on the Going To The Sun Road in Glacier National Park (it is closed to cars until the snow is cleared in june) It was a 2500 ft. climb in 11 miles and
only used 3 bars of battery in eco mode ( I weight 260 ) it nearly killed my daughter. I had more fun pacing some young guys in spandex up the mountain. Except for a few times I played a low profile on the bike not to stand out on a ebike in a national park (I did bring a copy of the federal laws detailing the specific description of ebikes). I have not used the throttle yet and do not need to as the pedelec function is why I bought it. I have had it for a week and 80 miles time will tell so far very happy.

Great choice!!
Evo 650B is going to be a huge hit this year.
Actually, for the year 2014, BH Easy Motion bikes were the best selling turn-key eBikes by volume in the United States.

Congrats and I'm sure you'll be happy with your choice.

I thought with my size I would need at least 750 watts but this geared hub and torque sensor make it work flawless.

And I have to say a big thanks to Court for all his detailed reviews. I wish my new bike had a mount for a water bottle.

Clamp-on is one solution:

Very cool bike. I wanted one for myself but didn't think the 350W motor would carry my fat guy body up hills, same weight as you, so I went with 500w from another
dealer . Great to hear it is working for you and enjoy the ride. It is the best looking ebike on the market in my opinion.

Buy a clamp on model from eBay or somewhere. They work great on our ebikes you just have to find the best place to mount it.

I purchased and installed a clamp on my handlebars and I already had the bottle cage to mount onto that. Right in front, bottle hangs on the outside of the bars, right in my reach, very convenient!
