Just keep in mind the safety factor and storage needs of keeping multiple batteries. Thanks, I have been looking at those for a possible second battery in a dual system. Thinking much the same as you--with their price, you aren't losing much if they go bad. Once you get a mounting system figured out, you can buy a couple of them and if one goes bad just swap in a new one.
What lead me to try this battery is that I saw a few news stories on how China is investing big time in cell production and that this company looks to have been around for 14 years now... though they started out as a battery charger manufacturer. Since they are not very well known I assume their major market is in China. That said I don't think Chinese government would allow them to continue to make bombs for their own consumption.
Well all that and it's the only battery of any capacity that I found that will fit my triangle.
LiitoKala is from China and is the most technologically innovative brand in the battery charger industry. The Lii-500 charger is still one of the most popular chargers on the market. Its products have passed CE, ROHS, FCC and many other certifications.
In other threads here... People have been relatively happy with what they received... Though like me this is all very recent.
