I emailed them last week and they are out of the controllers doe to the chip shortage. I also don't love that I have to pull the motor and send it to them. Are all companies that sell controllers do it that way?
Yeah they are out too. I guess I will have to wait or maybe someone is selling one. Have you played with an aftermarket controller? Not sure as it's ever changing.
Another might be Luna
No.Yeah they are out too. I guess I will have to wait or maybe someone is selling one. Have you played with an aftermarket controller?
Ill check it out. There controllers seem more for extra range and smoothness. I want stump pulling power. The new Ultra is a beast and should easily put out 2k watts nominal from what I read.No.
But the WATT WAGON forum here has a few that have gone X1
I have the cable and was lucky enough to get the older version which is programmable. I changed PAS 0 to a very mild level 1 and played with some of the "Smooth Frey" settings I found online. I left one bike stock so I could test the difference and see if I like the changes for a perfect A/B test. The bikes are in the shop so I haven't had much time to do testing but I will. I would love to get my hands on a 2300w controller. That would be perfect for this motor which from everything I read could easily handle the extra power. I don't beat on things so it would work for me. Do you know if it's an involved job to change controllers or is it where I have to send out my motor to get tuned to the new controller? Right now WW is having trouble getting their controllers built due to chip shortages. YikesYour correct the WW controller is for range and smoothness but still packs a punch if you want it. My buddy has the 2300w version and it scares him so he only rides in ECO mode, waste if you ask me. I have the 1500w version and always run in sport mode usually level 2 90% of the time.
I have 4 friends that have either the stock Bafang M620's or a Biktrix M620 and after we adjusted the programming they like them just fine.
Nice to have the UART connections. Just buy a stock motor ( if you can find one with the UART protocol ) and tune it yourself you'll never know the difference.
No, Phaserunner is a controller, it's not something to de-restrict top speed. Is it a Badass speed tuned box?
