At 0'c or below, the drop in performance is very noticeable.
Easiest way to destroy a battery's charge storage capacity is to charge them in cold temperatures.
Ravi when I bring the battery indoors after sub zero riding , how long should I wait for it to warm up before I begin to charge it?

How about wrapping in a foil emergency blanket? Increases reflective visibility, too....

I have an old knee brace on one of my batteries, I'm sure there are a lot on this forum that have old neoprene knee braces around.

UPP cover is crappy stiff plastic backed polyester. No insulation value. $15 shipped CONUS, if anyone wants one.
