Not sure I'm a fan. The lines on this new bike are distinctly un-Haibike in nature. And the rack looks flimsy. Who knows, maybe the weirdness will grow on me.

Some of the other new Trekking models have the trademark Haibike features. For example the Trekking 9 looks like this.

The non S Pedelec version of the Trekking 10 is similar to the Trekking 9:

Very nice , especially the S-Pedelec. Any word on pricing ?

Weight of the bikes seem to be missing...

From what I heard, same as previous year's S 9.0 model: 3990 euros. Not cheap but not quite R&M level either.

When available in the US is another question entirely.

The old S9.0 was around 26.5kg in size 56. I expect about the same here. There is a lighter porter and drive, but a bigger battery.

Looks like the rear brake line and shifter cable are routed through the downtube and internally the whole way to the rear now on the 9.

Where did you see these models posted because I don’t see it on Haibike’s Germany site or Haibike Belgium or HaibikeUSA.

Very interesting!

Couple of points I noticed:
  1. The speed pedelec version has a frame split near the rear dropout and I am expecting for 2022, they might introduce a belt drive version. There is no reason they would simply include frame split and not use it.
  2. The non-speed version actually looks better with more elegant lines.
  3. All versions have range extender (dual battery option) upto 1125 Whrs.
  4. Lights and rear rack on the speed models feels like a let down
  5. Most of the models come with the Kiox, which is a good thing.

Nice observation, I actually like how this frame looks, there is lots of space in the middle for additional battery, bottle cage etc.

You nag your LBS. After he gets so sick and tired of you asking about it each week, he'll give you something. Now he'll be nagging me about a demo (and hint, hint, buying). But I like the Cube and Diamant offerings better.

I think they got the 2021 press kit... I expect to see the bikes everywhere online soon.

These new Haibike models look nice. I'm glad Haibike is the brand that consistently makes S-Pedelecs, which are not that popular in West Europe. Gives the speed-hungry EU cyclists a honest break.

P.S. The price is better than the one offered on EU Vado 6.0.

Looks like they didn't want to pay for hydroforming dies for the top tube on the speed version.
Very perceptive and correct. It’s why Treks Allant line looks so good. Hydroforming is the way to go for clean aesthetics.

Finally, the price will be EU 4499.- for the Trekking S10. That translates into PLN 20499.- for the Polish people here such as @Stefan Mikes.

I am more interested in the Diamant Zouma Deluxe S+. It is significantly cheaper (at least in Switzerland).

That’s the Trek allant 9s with a suspension fork, Magura brakes and spanninga lights.

Diamant is owned by Trek.

Yes, this is the case with the older Diamant offerings as well. They carry the same frame. But the price of the mid-range Zouma 45km/h model is 650-700 euros lower than the Allant 8S in my locale. That's a lot of money. Enough to install the dual battery cable, and have some money left for the 2nd battery.

Sounds like a great deal!
