Thanks for allowing me to be a member of this forum. I just bought my first E MTB. It's an BH Emotion Rebel 27.5 hardtail. I absolutely love the bike however I haven't ridden it much to this point. The first time out in the woods indicated to me a couple of things. Either I need rear suspension or I need to get my butt up off the seat when going up hills. That is typically when I sit down while riding the bike. I use to race motorcross and hair scrambles 30+ years ago and since then I haven't been very active so I'm a tad out of shape. But with increased mountain biking toward the tail end of summer and into the fall my leg strength should be a point where I will not need to have my butt on the seat much!
