Not getting Forum notifications for past two days

Hey Stefan,

I checked your account and it shows that email notifications are disabled in your preferences. Are you meaning that you aren't receiving email notifications, or that you don't get any notifications in the forum itself when you log in?

We have been making some behind-the-scenes upgrades that might have caused some temporary issues. Please let me know if you are still having the issue with notifications and I will dig into it further!

I indeed use no e-mail notifications. I was not getting the regular ones. For example, someone posts in the thread with my active participation and I'm not notified about it. Hard to prove anything solid though.

I have missed some notifications for threads I am apart of...but not always...flakey. Also for some time I get a 404 error code for the home page...on my IPad but not my phone. All easily worked around...it’s not like my battery cover flying open and skittering down the road recently (again)

I'll check into it! Are you using an iPad by chance? I see @Mulezen is, and I got another bug report from someone on an iPad yesterday. They said the same thing that it's kinda flakey and inconsistent. If it happens to you again and you notice which link you were trying to click and can send that to me, I'd super appreciate it!

No I'm using a Mac desk top.
My issue is not about clicking on links, the issue is not getting notifications when someone replies to my comments or posts...I get no email notifications at all. And it's still happening.

Hi there, I found the problem for your account. Our mail service is unable to send email to you because at some point in the past you marked one of our messages as spam. Please make sure you don't have info@electricbikereview.com flagged as spam or junk on your end, and I'll re-enable sending to your address :)

I find the overall performance of the site to be rather poor lately.
That's on both Android devices and Windows 10 PC.

Pages and pics often load slowly and Alerts are inconsistent.

Please make sure you don't have info@electricbikereview.com flagged as spam or junk on your end, and I'll re-enable sending to your address :)
I am having some issues with my email...I found the blocked email and moved it to the inbox, I could not find any way to tell the server to not block it so....not sure if that will work.

That should do the trick! I enabled your address in our system again so you should again begin receiving email notifications. You can customize your notification settings by visiting this page: https://electricbikereview.com/forums/account/preferences

Hey there, thanks for letting me know! Do you use only the forums, or do you also notice poor performance when visiting the main review part of our site?
I reported not getting consistent alerts about a year or so ago. Something I've really tried to figure out the pattern of where and why. This observation I am sure of, and I have tested it several times. If I get an alert for a thread where I posted a reply and I don't click on the alert to read the most recent replies, I won't get any further alerts for that thread. That's true even if I clear the alert. It's as though the software is programmed to react as though I'm no longer interested if I don't view every alerted post. I tend to look at the list of threads with my posts in order to catch up on new replies.

Hmm, this is intriguing! And quite helpful, thank you :)

I'm going to talk with the folks on the Xenforo support forums and see what I can figure out to get this fixed. @Mulezen hopefully will get it fixed for you too! I'll reply back in this thread with updates soon.

I continue to not get notifications, or worse no loading from email like this particular email above. I went to forums no problem. This on an IPad, i believe phone to be okay
