Pace500 spokes breaking

Has anyone had issue with spokes breaking?
My buddy has had several rear wheel spokes break within a couple hundred miles and I had one break at under 100 miles on the rear. This even after truing the wheel and adjusting with a tension meter. Aventon is best about warranty cover cost! Any help would be appreciated.

I did read recently (here or on the Facebook group) of someone breaking a rear spoke on a ride.

Some have been breaking on the 500. It's a high torque motor. The rims are fine. Be sure to keep tire pressure up, and keep spokes evenly tightened. Aventon will take care of the issue for you through the dealer you bought from. Or talk with them directly if you purchased from them.

I just went over my Pace 500 (110 miles) and wife's 350 (40 miles) and several spokes on both bikes were really loose.

Park Tool TM-1 Spoke Tension Meter

I bought this copy and it works great at less than half the price: VGEBY1 Spoke Tension Meter

I use a tension meter reading of 28 for rear drive side and 24-25 non-drive side and 24-25 for the front wheel. The rims are speced at 110-120kgf. The spokes are 13 gauge stainless steel, 2.28mm diameter.

Here's the tension gauge settings for the Pace 350 and 500:

I had one rear drive side spoke break at around 700 miles so I bought the tension meter and found that tuning by ear and by feel wasn't very accurate. Aventon sent me a new spoke and nipple. I had to remove the rear wheel to do the spoke replacement.

Park Blue .156mm Spoke Wrench for Aventon 500.
RobRob recommendations for Spoke Tension Meter and instructions are right on!
I found both my 500s spokes were off from the factory build. Wheels were pretty well trued. But tension varied from 22-32. Using the recommended meter, I retensioned all spokes to specified value. This resulted in out of trueness for all four wheels. Retrued the wheels usually by adding slight tension to the offending spoke. After truing wheels, I retested tension. All spokes were still in specified tolerance.

My 500 rear wheel went out of true when I retensioned the spokes. Adjusted the tension at the problem area but didn't go above 28 on any of the spokes.
