Questions on Nyon

Hello,

Recently joined to pedelec community with a Riese & Müller Roadster equipped with Bosch Performance Line and 500W battery pack w/Nyon...

My first question: When selecting points in navigation, sometimes all three options of Nyon (fast, scenic and MTB) use a route thru abonboned and unused roads persistively. Since these roads are unused, the nav becomes nonsense. Not a chance to ignore/discard that persistive selection... Any idea?

Other question is, any way to export the ride values? For sure Nyon is keeping a good data of all the travel but all it gives later is speed and cadance. No average power or motor torque for example though all they are there...

Thanks

Nyon didn't suit my needs, and I couldn't get rid of it fast enough so can't answer your questions, but I do know that you can buy additional and very useful features for it. If you join the UK pedelec forum and search Nyon, you should find plenty of info relating to the system.
The German pedelec forum also has loads of info on the subject.

Welcome to the pedelec community @Kego! Riesse and Muller makes some amazing bikes! We've been speaking to them for years and we're hoping to help introduce their brand to the US. As @EddieJ mentioned you might have to look on some of the more European focused forums since the Nyon hasn't been made available in the US yet.

Hello,

Thanks for replies... I'd checked a few German forums, but unfortunately my German is so little to understand those... On the other hand, neither R&M nor other prıducers didn't bring any e-bikes to Turkey officially. I am probably one of the very few guys having e-bike (I don't even count Nyon)

Nyon is really a powerful and capable gadget still needing some improvement from the S/W side. I have purchased all premium features. Especially custom riding modes bring battery save option for conditioned users.

BTW, let me reply one of my own questions, maybe would be helpful for some other guys. I use www.bikemap.net and this site allows to create routes than export as GPX. Once create the route via this tool and import it to Nyon...

This is just one link, but if you do a forum search Nyon will crop up time and time again. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/nyon-software-update-april-2016.23994/ You could sign up to the forum, then drop Plasmadaddy a private message, as he seems to be the most tolerant of the system. If you do happen to post anything about the system, don't expect many favourable replies, as most Nyon owners seemingly hate it.

I don't hate it, but like many European eMTB owners, I have removed it in favour of fitting Intuvia. Nyon is a versatile system, but doesn't belong on an eMTB, as it is far too big and baulky
I'm currently itching to receive my new even smaller eMTB dedicated hdmi unit. I've had details and photos about it for ages, but the release date has sadly been moved. :(
