I am getting tired of saying thank you on here but THANK YOU ryukenden73!! They sent me the wrong size shock AND if you hadn't have noticed I would have destroyed my rear brake cable even MORE than I already did! I just did a return on the one they sent me originally and ordered the exact same thing and lo and behold! 150MM! Alls well that ends well. Except for my brake cable. No bueno. Thank you! I still think the shock is one of the best upgrades I have done and you suggested it!

The rear shock which is an HLT-100 rated at 750lbs is starting to sag on my bike. I am 218 lbs. and ride the bike on pavement 90% all the time. I initially attempted to increase the size and replace it with a DNM-AOY-38RC gas shock, which is a lockable and adjustable. FYI, the shock we have is 150 mm. This is one is 165mm. The replacement shock will fit, but the problem is the wiring is touching the top of the shock and it might break the cables during riding. So, i found a 150 mm adjustable gas shock DNM-AO6. You will need to reuse the upper and lower aluminum bushings from the HLT-100.

You can see that the replacement shock has a larger air chamber and the pressure can be adjusted. The factory set it to 150PSI which is a tad too hard for me. I dropped it to 100PSI. View attachment 69222
Hey, I have had my Wallke X3 pro for 5 months to the day! I was looking to upgrade the rear suspension, and ordered the one you used used here. My issue is after a few jumps the bolts holding the rear shock have started to bend, Are you aware of any replacements that will work? They are pretty long as Bike suspension bolts go (82mm by 8mm Barrel) and I have not been able to find any that size except included with the HLT 100 if I buy another.

Yeah. It’s heavy bike. No sweet jumps.

When you order the HLT-100 suspension.. you have the option of ordering the bolts and spacer. 24L and 52L. Try asking for replacements from Wallke.

I found out that I bent mine when I upgraded my rear shock, i straightened it out with a hammer and the flat concrete floor.

Are there any adjustable rear shock options that will fit this bike?

I'm about ~195'ish and I've noticed that I've been bottoming out quite a bit lately on the street.

Saw one of these on another bike and was curious if there was sumthin similar that will fit

with the 2020 wallke x3 version — due to wiring constraints on the rear shock .. we are limited to 150mm. I’ve tried multiple times to fit a a 165mm DNM or Rockshox.. nope. Had to send them back. The 2021 version has less wiring and you can fit a 165mm. Rockshox, fox or DNM would be your choices
