First impressions:

The Pedro's Micro Levers are impressively small and save some space in the tiny frame bag that is my every-ride-carry. While there is quick link storage in them it does not fit my links. The little black thing is a Presta valve core wrench, which I already have on my multi-tool but another one is welcome.

I assembled the saddle and seat post and took it out for a spin. While I haven't dialed it in it was surprisingly comfortable, and probably would be more comfortable in shorts without padding (I wore triathlon shorts for the experiment this evening). One alarming thing I noticed is that the saddle bolts stick up into what might be sensitive territory, but a bit of experimentation has led me to conclude that I can't possibly skewer myself on them. Another thing is that because the Kinekt displaces your seat post attachment back a bit, and more than a bit if you tighten it up, you need to set the saddle quite a bit forward so the whole thing looks a little unbalanced. Another thing about the Kinekt is as you adjust the preload on the saddle you will find yourself having to adjust the saddle to get it level.

While the saddle appears strong and quite solid, I can't shake the fear that I'm going to plow through a rock garden and have the damned thing disintegrate on me.

Other than that, so far so good. More testing tomorrow.
