Turbo Rosenberger plug

Having now done >23,000km on my 2016 Turbo and removing the battery daily, the interface between battery and bike has become problematic. I've worked around it with a bit of aluminium foil to help the electrical interface, but expect I'll need a new connector. Anyone else had this issue?

Aluminum foil to help connection was NOT a good idea! It melted. I have ordered a replacement component from a Rosenberger distributor in Hong Kong.

I ordered a spare Rosenberger plug from Mouser Electronics and had my LeBS fit it (it's fairly simple but the wires need to be properly connected and insulated etc.

Why do you remove the battery? Are you obligated to park it outside, or you have to go upstairs to charge it, or ??

At work I charge on the bike, at home I tend to charge of the bike. Largely on account of the position of the power plug, and a little bit because of the disturbing nature of flickering lights that you get with the turbo S/Levo charger.
