ODK U500 Utility Electric Bicycle

A basic utility bike for a decent price.. Just not a fan of big batteries off the rear rack. Seems like they've upgraded every aspect of their original design.

That's cool. The 8fun BBos2 has many options for different batteries, one of them is a 50V 22AH battery. I don't know a lot about batteries, but this one is 400$.

It would be interesting to correlate the associated weights in that graph. -S
Well the Juiced Rider tips in at 72 lbs and is throttle only, FWD... So it's the caveman approach to long range... Maybe this is a bit snooty, but I call it the best darn 2009 design out there!

I've been thinking about battery sizes for a bit. It seems to me that what we really need is a modular design with the ability to stack up the modules to equal the task at hand. Taking a short trip? I think one 5 AH module would be just fine. A longer trip? Stack them up. Why should we have to drag around a large battery all the time? Saves on charge cycles too.
