My wife and I had done some extensive biking with folders off of cruise ships but the company stop allowing us to do so. While in Corsica, France we decided to give ebikes a go. The island is very hilly, windy and dry. Challenging for any bike rider. Our day with two very used and well hammered drop frame bikes turned out surprisingly fun! Fearful of running out of juice far from town we kept the bikes in ECO mode most of the ride. After about 25 miles we'd returned to town and found plenty of battery left and decided to aim them up through the hills surrounding Ajaccio. The smile on my wife's face said it all. Ever since all I've heard is how much she'd like her own ebike.

We've certainly seen lots of ebikes around our home in No California. They've been flying out of stores with some models hard to find. Finally decided on couple of Trek Allant+7S. It's only been a few days with the bikes but they seem to be living up to expectations. Always thought I'd be on an EV motorcycle before a bicycle but here we are. Great fun! Excited to learn from other experienced riders and pick up tips along the way.

Welcome to the club. Yes, they're game changing for those of us who live in hilly areas, like you and I do. IMHO, Trek Allants are worth the money for the support one (hopefully) gets. Not at all like many of the "inexpensive" bikes you read about in these forums, and the Bosch drivetrains seem to hold up well too.
