We are taking a step towards providing additional transparency on our component, bike, accessories availability and shipping times. We are trying not to get too granular but provide a more macro visibility on delays / shipping and any delays with your order.
We plan to update it every week moving forward. - It will be updated here. Here is an updated version from today morning.

Edit: Status updated 4/30.

Thank you Pushkar
can you please clarify
Is the light chip something that can be added to Standard X1? Send back to you For install? Price?

Light chip is self install. Essentially it is a small DC-Dc step down converter + some code. Will need XT 30 connectors - we will ship it with the connectors, splitters etc.

Greatly appreciate the update but distressed over confirmation of your limited stock of components to complete builds. Looks like 6/1 may be earliest when you'll have everything you need. Does this outlook apply to Founders bikes as well, or have parts already been reserved for them?

Founders have parts reserved. except for 2 items
1. Kindernay - they ship every 2-3 weeks , and we have enough to cover most founders.
2. Supernova - finally came in last week. We are short by 6 but Another smaller shipment is on its way.

Looking at founders timeframe, 2-6 weeks for frames to arrive and then 1-2 weeks for paint and then 1-2 weeks to assemble and ship. So are we looking at 4-10 weeks to get the bikes? (May 26-july1)

Paint and build is prioritized for founders - we can do those 1-2 weeks (total) for both activities.

We also just brought on a fairly senior shop manager to help us expedite the builds. He went over the helios build list, methods and I believe we can do it even faster once the frames are actually here.

Wow, trying to build an awesome Ebike during Covid and the Ebike rush, is hard.
The supplier component companies must be doing really well for sales as they can't keep up, and it's been that way for a year.

We heard that the constraints should get easier by December, January.
However that is what everybody was saying about this summer, and it’s nowhere close.

The top firms like Magura / shimano are already tracking 2023, 2024 for some deliveries. Though it will get recalibrated to late 2022 if demand slows down.

if the US makes the investments that are part of the new bill, and if the Ebike credit becomes a reality, the demand is going to stay this way for the foreseeable future IMO. The only way out is if production starts in the US. Huge opportunity to do something quick and automated.

How about Fox shocks, are they hard to get?

Bummer that there’s such a bottleneck. What does this mean if I purchased my Hydra in late March? Can I still hope for delivery in June or July or is that out of the question?
