Yikes! I like to sometimes daydream about living somewhere with four real seasons. Posts like this bring the reality back home.An AWFUL winter. Temperatures are well above normal but RAIN! Rain in Minnesnowta in January means ICE. In snowy winters the snow gets plowed aside and the sun usually melts off the remnants in a week or so. This year because of glare ice and frozen slush even more salt and sand have been already put down than through an entire typical winter. Still have half of January, February, and March to go... DEFINITELY cabin fever winter this year. Something I've not experienced in decades. WALKING outdoors on ice is terrifying. In my "yoot" I worked as a medical assistant/orderly and wiped a lot of oldsters' butts with busted hips from winter falls. NO, just, NO!
