Scott Reviews

Scott was founded in 1958 as SCOTT-USA by Ed Scott when he invented the first aluminum ski pole. This invention established Scott as a technical product leader in the skiing market. Later, in 1970 Scott decided to enter the motocross gear market by starting to produce motocross goggles, and then making boots, grips, and other accessories. In 1989 Scott entered the cycling market by releasing an aerodynamic handlebar. This handlebar was utilized by American Greg Lemond when he won the Tour de France in 1989. Since the handlebar, Scott has been creating many more products surrounding bikes such as suspension products, full-suspension mountain bikes, winter sports gloves, and more. In 2011, in close collaboration with the electronic giant Bosch, Scott started their first Ebike line.
