Cyclo began production in 2017 and is based in San Diego, California. The founder, Alan Silberstein, was living in Europe and commuting daily on his electric bike. He loved it so much that he could never go back to commuting without it. After moving back to the states, Alan found that electric bikes in America were simply too expensive. If he wanted a bike that had the quality, power, and range necessary to allow him to ride like he had become accustomed, he would have to spend thousands of dollars. He decided to make one for himself, and everyone else in America, and that’s how Cyclo was born.
