Downhill or DH is the most aggressive category of electric mountain bikes which often feature robust frames, long travel suspension (180mm or 8-inch 200mm+) with multiple crowns, slack head tube angle, and coil-over rear suspension for consistent performance during sustained use. These bikes can handle the biggest rocks, trees, and drops. They perform best navigating down hills vs. climbing, but electric assist makes them a great alternative to carpooling, chair lifts, and hiking before descents.
