KONA Reviews

KONA was formed in the mid-1980’s by two friends, Dan and Jake, in Kerrisdale, BC Canada. The company initially focused on mountain and road bikes for customers in the greater Vancouver area. In mid-2010, they released their first ebikes including the Electric Ute, Token, and Ticket. As of this summery in 2020, the company is still owned by the two original founders, but has grown to roughly 75 employees. They’ve expanded from Canada to also sell in the United States, with a strong presence in Bellingham, Washington. KONA prides itself on being rider owned, and each bike that they make and sell is ridden weekly by at least one of their employees. Authenticity, value, and community connection differentiate this brand.
