Would like to know if you think this bike is a fit for a short commute with a couple of slopes? I guess my question is, would the assist would be enough even with the high gear?
Thanks!

8 years agoGood question… This ebike is just a touch above unpowered but that “touch” is roughly equivalent to a long distance cycling athlete (they tend to put out ~220 watts continuous). So this decision might come down to how much you intend to pedal, your weight and just the overall expectation. It’s going to be way better than an unpowered bike but might seem weak compared with the other options available (especially in the US). I like how light weight it is and how stealthy the design is :)

7 years agoJust purchased March 9th 2018 for my rides around Florida. Old School minimalism works great for short rides 10-15 miles. Other bike is for long distance, Cattike Expedition… no electric drive, which probably explains my lack of use of the electric assist in Florida with the ex go racer’.

2 years agoI’m after a lcd display for this bike… here can I get one or a universal display that will work?

2 years agoHi Alan, perhaps someone is parting out an old Easy Motion model and would have the same display used, or you could contact BH and ask if they sell the part :)
