Giant was started in 1972 and is considered one of the “Big Three” in North America, including Trek and Specialized. The were one of the first bicycle companies to introduced strong, lightweight, aluminum alloy frames at a time when other companies were fixed on steel. With more than 12,000 retail stores around the world, Giant is a leader in product experience and customer service. Their electric bikes were introduced with customized Yamaha drive systems and fully-integrated batteries. They were one of the first companies to introduce in-frame battery packs.
