9 years agoHi Court,
I’ve noticed that some of your reviews list “Motor Torque” in their specs, but many do not. When I saw the 2016 Trail Tracker and Ridge Rider Dapu hub-motor driven ebikes listed at 60 Nm, I was taken aback. The 2015/16 Stretch appears to use the same system (500W/48V), but comes in at just 40.5 Nm, which is more in line with what I’d expect from a hub motor. I’ve got to experience a 60 Nm hub-motor for myself!
Here’s my question: are you getting the specs you list from Pedego and the other manufacturers? How verifiable are they?
Thanks

9 years agoHi JimBo, I get ALL of the motor torque specs direct from manufacturer and yes… I’d question them. The reason they aren’t on all of the reviews is that some manufacturers don’t provide them to me. I try my best to find motor wattage stickers on hubs or mid-drive casings and use that for nominal but peak output is often verbally communicated to me so again… suspect ;)

8 years agoWhat is the weight capacity on the Pedego trail tracker 2016 model. And what is the weight capacity on the stretch e-bike?? PLZ GET BACK TO ME ASAP!! THANK YOU SO MUCH.

8 years agoHi Alex, I’m honestly not sure but a lot of ebikes say 250 lbs. Pedego is a bit higher because they are built extra strong with thicker spokes and the option to get cast rims. The wheels are usually the most sensitive in my experience, try calling your local dealer for more specifics. I still think the Interceptor might be the best model for you because it’s larger and you said you were pretty tall right :)
